Perplexity Comet
An agentic AI browser that browses, compares, and completes tasks for you — not just search.
What is Perplexity Comet?
Comet is Perplexity's AI-first web browser. Ask it to research a topic, compare prices across ten tabs, or fill out a form, and its built-in agent actually does the clicking and reading for you inside the browser itself, not a separate app.
Built on Chromium, Comet replaces the address bar with an AI assistant that can see every open tab, summarise pages, and take multi-step actions across sites — book a reservation, compare flight prices, draft an email from a thread. It launched to Perplexity Max subscribers first, then opened wider through 2026. The pitch is simple: the browser that used to just display pages should also be able to act on them.
